1. ECONYL®

The pieces in Collection No.1 in Black are made with ECONYL®, a regenerated nylon made out of waste that has been rescued from landfills and oceans around the world.

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is made from waste such as fishing nets, fabric scraps and carpets; it can be recycled, recreated and remoulded infinitely. Read more about the process here

The ECONYL® Regeneration System

1. Rescue

The ECONYL® Regeneration System starts with rescuing waste, like fishing nets, fabric scarps, carpet flooring and industrial plastic all over the world. That waste is then sorted and cleaned to recover all of the nylon possible.

2. Regenerate

Through a radical regeneration and purification process, the nylon waste is recycled right back into its original purity. That means ECONYL® regenerated nylon is exactly the same as virgin nylon.

3. Remake

ECONYL® regenerated nylon is processed into yarns and polymers for the fashion and interior industries.

4. Reimagine

The beauty of ECONYL® regenerated nylon is that it has the potential to be recycled infinitely, without ever losing its quality. We believe circular design is the future and using ECONYL® is our first step on that journey.

2. REPREVE

The pieces in Collection No.1 in the Meadow pattern, designed by me, are made with REPREVE™.

REPREVE™ transforms recycled Nylon & Plastic bottles into soft fibers, used by the world’s leading brands to make premium quality Swim & Activewear.

REPREVE™ is made by Unifi, a leading global textile solutions company. Since 2007, they has transformed more then 25 million plastic bottles into recycled fibres.
